APIEZON L Grease 50 Gms
A well‐proven and recommended high‐vacuum grease for electron beam instruments. Grease L is a petroleum hydrocarbon grease, containing no additives. Very low vapour pressure (@20°C of 8×10‐¹¹ torr), high vacuum grade. Type L is widely used in electron microscopy where moderately high column temperatures and high vacuum requirements demand a vacuum grease with extraordinary characteristics. Type L is also used in the stationary phase of gas liquid chromatography, and may be used on all ground joints in a vacuum system (not for stopcocks). Its solubility is as follows: in ethanol at 20°C‐0.003%; 60°C‐0.005%; 100°C‐0.011%; 150°C‐0.011%. Grease L softens and melts at about 47°C and it is not recommended for joints where temperatures exceed more than 30°C in use. Grease T is recommended for these higher temperatures.
Apiezon M Grease, 100g tube
Apiezon M Grease is a silicone- and halogen-free high vacuum grease and is ideally suited to all manner of high vacuum applications. Its inherent versatility means M Grease is also frequently used for non-vacuum purposes in both scientific and industrial settings and it is approved for use by NATO.Apiezon M Grease is designed for use in high vacuum environments at ambient temperatures (generally between 10 to 30°C / 50 to 86°F). If you are looking for a grease capable of performing at higher temperatures, Apiezon AP101 or Apiezon H Grease may be more appropriate.
Apiezon M Grease: High Vacuum Grease Properties
Apiezon M Grease is a silicone- and halogen-free high vacuum grease which:
-does not suffer from contamination problems associated with silicone based greases such as ‘creep’ or ‘carry over’
-provides excellent lubrication
-is recommended for use at ambient temperatures
-exhibits a vapour pressure of 1.7 x 10-9 Torr at 20°C
-has built-in radiation resistance
-has powerful ‘gettering’ action, meaning it absorbs potentially harmful grease and chemical impurities on metal and glass surfaces
-is easy to clean and remove as it is soluble in hydrocarbon and chlorinated solvents.

Apiezon N Grease, 25g tube
Apiezon N Grease is silicone-free and widely recognised and recommended as the cryogenic vacuum grease of choice. This cryogenic grease is specially formulated to exhibit craze-free performance characteristics at low temperatures and withstand frequent cycling between cryogenic temperatures as low as -273°C and +30°C.
Apiezon N Grease: Cryogenic High Vacuum Grease Properties
Apiezon N Grease is a silicone- and halogen-free cryogenic high vacuum grease which:
-can withstand frequent cycling between cryogenic temperatures as low as -273°C and +30°C
-is craze-free at cryogenic temperatures
-has the ability to fill the micropores of adjoining surfaces, so improve thermal contact
-does not suffer from contamination problems associated with silicone based greases such as ‘creep’ or ‘carry over’
-exhibits a vapour pressure of 6 x 10-10 Torr at 20°C
-has powerful ‘gettering’ action, meaning it absorbs potentially harmful grease and chemical impurities on metal and glass surfaces
-is easy to clean, use and remove as it is soluble in hydrocarbon and chlorinated solvents.
Apiezon T Grease, 25g tube
Apiezon T Grease is a silicone-free medium temperature vacuum grease renowned for its quality and tenacity. T Grease has gained approval from prestigious organisations including NATO and the US Navy.
Apiezon T Grease: Medium Temperature Vacuum Grease Properties.
Apiezon T Grease is a silicone-free medium temperature vacuum grease which:
-performs well under a wide range of temperatures, from +10 to +120°C
-is not recommended for highly stressed bearings
-has added cushioningexhibits good ‘stiction’ or sticking power
-has powerful ‘gettering’ action, meaning it absorbs potentially harmful grease and chemical impurities on metal and glass surfaces
-is easy to clean and remove as it is soluble in hydrocarbon and chlorinated solvents
-exhibits a vapour pressure of 4.6 x 10-9 Torr at 20°C

ULTRAGRADE 19 Oil 4 L H11025013 (H11025013)
Edwards Ultragrade TM Performance oils are manufactured for oil sealed vacuum pumps. Ultragrade oils are proven to succeed where others fail and is highly recommended by the users. Produced by hydrotreating, which removes nitrogen, sulphur providing a base free of impurities. The Edward ultragrade oild improve performance allowing the vacuum pump tolerate high temperatures. For standard applications to pump down air, inert gases and noble gases. Designed to be used with Edwards Vacuum Rotary Vane Pumps.
