MB-HC-SE1 Upgrade
Upgrade: The MB-HC-SE1 analyzer is designed for the detection and monitoring of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in inert gas or air. Using a photo ionization detector (PID) it is capable of measuring concentrations down to the lower ppm-range (optional: ppb-range). Calibrated for iso-Butene, sensitivities for different other substances can be obtained from tabulated conversion factors. The output voltage signal is scaled 0-10V for 0 to 6000ppm iso-Butene (optional 4-20mA output available). Mounted directly into the circulation piping using the standard KF40 flange. ***** Note: For the intended use (monitoring of a solvent trap = LMF) there is no necessity for an accurate ppm value of a special solvent nor for strict linear response. Typically, mixtures of different substances are to be handled by the LMF and the concentration is low as long as the filter is active. A distinct increase in the signal will indicate exhaust of the filtering material. The PID technology with its combination of low detection limit and large dynamic range is ideally fitted for this application.
